We use the term "base unit" to refer to basic rack units that can be used independently and which always contain four rack supports.
Rack units that can be added to an existing base units are called add-on racks. They always only contain two rack supports, and can therefore not be used independently.
Fig. 3:
For storing automobile tyres with or without wheel rims, for sizes from diameter 578 - 650 mm. With a rack height of 3000 mm with 5 pairs of tyre crosspieces it is possible to provide storage for sizes from diameter 578 - 600 mm.
